CONCEPT
For their annual retreat, an executive committee sought a destination where they could reflect on a successful year, strengthen team cohesion, and embark on extraordinary adventures. How do you celebrate a year of success while fostering team spirit? By heading to the Arctic Circle —where untouched landscapes and thrilling adventures make corporate buzzwords like “synergy” feel a lot more exciting.
Lapland delivered a striking mix of wilderness and luxury. The group stayed in unique glass-roofed cabins, where nights were spent watching the northern lights—nature’s most spectacular reminder to take a break from the daily grind.
The retreat was a mix of adventure and relaxation, with activities designed to encourage collaboration and camaraderie.
Some of the highlights included:
Sauna and Ice Bathing Rituals : a Nordic experience that blended wellness and exhilaration, where the team braved icy waters before unwinding in a private sauna area reserved exclusively for their group.
Ice Fishing and Husky Safaris : Guests embraced adventure by driving their own husky sleds and learned the art of ice fishing, connecting with the traditions of Lapland.
High-Speed Fun : The group’s competitive spirit shone during adrenaline-fueled ice karting, where laughter and friendly rivalry made for unforgettable moments.
The grand finale was a private northern lights hunt and dinner. Deep in the woods, a hidden hut awaited, lit by firelight and warmed by a wood-burning stove. A local chef worked their magic serving up regional meals.
From the initial vision to the final details, I orchestrated every aspect of this bespoke retreat, ensuring the experience reflected the committee’s ambitions and strengthened their team bonds.
This wasn’t just a corporate trip; it was a seamless blend of adventure, connection, and Arctic wonder—leaving the team refreshed, inspired, and ready to tackle the year ahead with renewed energy.
