This unique journey, hosted in collaboration with Virgin Unite and Richard Branson, brought together a group of like-minded individuals meeting for the first time, united by a shared passion for making a meaningful difference in the world. Over 7 unforgettable days, guests embarked on a carefully curated itinerary that blended impactful philanthropy, luxury, and adventure—creating a transformative experience for both participants and the communities they visited.


From fostering collaborations with the foundation to being onsite throughout, my role was to ensure every element of this journey exceeded expectations. I worked closely with the Virgin Unite team to create moments that left a deep emotional impact, empowering guests to support initiatives with renewed purpose and generosity.



The Journey

The journey began in Johannesburg, where guests engaged with Virgin Unite’s impactful initiatives. Highlights included an emotional visit to Buskaid, a music academy in Soweto empowering children through classical music. Another standout moment was visiting the Maharishi Institute, which provides free education and practical training to marginalized youth to develop a new generation of leaders for South Africa. With over 19,000 students lifted from poverty to stable careers, it’s a shining example of sustainable empowerment. Guests also had the rewarding experience of mentoring students and alumni, witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact of this innovative model.


The journey continued in Ulusaba, Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve. Over four days, guests were immersed in the beauty of the African bush, with Richard Branson himself as their charismatic host. Safari drives revealed the magic of South Africa’s wildlife, while unique culinary experiences brought the group together in unforgettable ways—whether enjoying a bush brunch under the rising sun or a starlit dinner by the fire.


This was more than a trip—it was a call to action. By combining philanthropy, adventure, and community, the experience challenged guests to see the world differently and left them inspired to drive meaningful change. It was a journey that transformed lives—both for those who traveled and for the communities they supported.
